POSITION: Sales Account Executive
Description: WSHH-FM (Wish 99.7) is currently looking for experienced, career-oriented sales people to represent our adult contemporary station in the Pittsburgh market.
Account Executive is responsible for working with direct sales clients and advertising agencies to execute successful sales promotions, branding and marketing campaigns and advertising results for advertisers.
Successful candidates must possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Account Executive must be self-motivated, goal-driven, passionate and creative with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. At least one year of outside sales experience is preferred. Media sales experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Expand local sales by bringing new advertisers to the station, generating new leads and selling non-traditional and digital advertising.
- Establish and develop client partnerships
- Develop short and long-range plans for revenue growth
- Radio experience preferred but not required
- Strong oral and written presentation skills

Description: WSHH-FM (Wish 99.7) is currently searching for a motivated individual to join our corporate team. Learn a diverse set of new skills as you assist in the development of our station through sales, marketing, and advertising ventures.
The Sales, Marketing and Corporate Assistant is responsible for assisting the sales department through creative and administrative duties that aid in the recruitment and retainment of various clients. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc) and assist the marketing department in executing social media projects that align with our sales and marketing campaigns. Assistant is willing to learn and grow as they explore the day-to-day functions of broadcast marketing in a goal-driven and supportive environment.
Along with assisting in administrative duties, our ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, is detail-oriented and goal-driven, is passionate and creatively motivated, has professional time-management skills, and is willing to interact with a friendly disposition with members of staff and the public.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day development of sales campaigns, including but not limited to-
helping develop visual aids through a creative lens to help drive clients to our station] - Using sales programs to input sales orders from their creation to completion
using sales programs to send spot logs to Account Executives and clients upon request - Writing copy for commercials and advertisements, using creativity to develop scripts and advertising copy that best suits the individual client
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns
- Maintain and monitor our social media platforms
- Schedule posts across our social media platforms, using Creator Studio and Hootsuite Programs
- Keep track of all scheduled posts and monitor for conflicts
- Use creativity to develop social media posts for clients and our professional pages
- Develop social media content to create daily posts to promote engagement with our followers.
- Assist in administrative duties for our corporate office.

POSITION: Part-time Promotions Assistant / Street Team Member
Description: WSHH-FM (Wish 99.7) is looking for qualified part-time applicants to work on-site events, remotes, and other appearances. Applicants can expect to work as Remote Broadcast Set-Up Technicians for on-site broadcasts and appearances, and drive, operate and assist in the execution of Wish 99.7’s Street Treat Patrol project; the stations ice cream and snack delivery vehicle that goes to over 60 community events each year. Additional in-house activities on as-needed basis.

POSITION: Internship
Renda Broadcasting Corporation’s Wish 99.7 invites college students to apply for the position of College Intern. The station’s summer internship program runs from Memorial Day through August, however, we welcome interns for each semester.
Applicants must be actively enrolled in a four-year college or university and must be receiving grade credit from their school in exchange for their service as an intern. All internship positions are unpaid. Interns will work under the auspices of the Marketing and Promotions Department at the stations, and will assist with events, promotions,, appearances, in-office duties, and will work on the station’s external projects, including the Wish 99.7 Street Treat Patrol community project.
Applicants must be friendly, upbeat, and able to communicate well with children and families, and be a safe and competent licensed and insured driver. Applicants must agree to the station’s dress code and all specified rules, and must maintain communications and follow the instructions given to them by their college advisers so as to receive proper grade credit for their service to the station.
