Join us for the Komen Pittsburgh MORE THAN PINK Walk® on Sunday, May 17^th, presented on WISH 99.7 by The Reschini Group, Pella Windows and Doors of Pittsburgh, Original Mattress Factory, and M2B Retirement Consulting!

We will walk for the people who can't: For those too weakened by treatment to join. For those who are suffering. For those we have lost. Together we will fight back against breast cancer. We’re inviting YOU to walk with us to celebrate survivors, those living with breast cancer, and honor loved ones lost.  Registration is FREE!

8:45 a.m. | Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer meet at Hope Village.

Just The Facts – Did you know?

• In 2026, it’s estimated among women in the U.S. there will be:
  • 321,910 new cases of invasive breast cancer (This includes new cases of primary breast cancer, but not breast cancer recurrences.)
  • 60,730 new cases of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), a non-invasive breast cancer
  • 42,140 breast cancer deaths

• In 2026, it’s estimated among men in the U.S. there will be:
  • 2,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer (This includes new cases of primary breast cancers, but not breast cancer recurrences.)
  • 530 breast cancer deaths

• 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime?

• Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, accounting for 31% of newly diagnosed cancers.

• Every 2 minutes, 1 case of breast cancer is diagnosed in the United States.

• More than 287,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women and more than 2.700 case of men % higher in Black women than in white women.

• About 4% of breast cancers occur in women younger than 40.  However, breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death (death from any type of cancer) among women ages 20-39.
